The large, rackless 230 × 150 mm mechanical stage has 78 × 54 mm X-Y travel and holds two slides. Coarse focus travel is 37.7 mm per rotation; fine focus is 0.2 mm per rotation with 0.002 mm graduations.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDepending on configuration, the Achios-X Observer has a standard or foldable Abbe condenser, Köhler illumination and Smart Light Control, which remembers the light intensity for each objective. NeoLED color temperature is adjustable and can be stored. The four-position fluorescence module selects among three LED fluorescence filters and transmitted brightfield illumination. Included filters cover blue excitation at 485 nm, green at 525 nm and UV at 365 nm.
