EYEPIECES
- Wide-field WF10x/18 mm eyepieces.
- Monocular models include a fixed eyepiece with pointer.
- BioBlue EVO models are supplied with WF10x/20 mm eyepieces.
HEAD
- All heads rotate through 360° and have a locking screw.
- Monocular head inclined at 45°.
- Binocular and trinocular heads inclined at 30°, with adjustable interpupillary distance of 48–75 mm and ±5 diopter correction on the left eyepiece tube.
- The trinocular head has a fixed 50:50 beam splitter and produces an upright image.
- Digital-head models include an integrated 5.0 MP USB 2.0 CMOS camera (2560 × 1920 pixels) with a 1/2-inch sensor.
- A discussion head is available as an option.
NOSEPIECE
Quadruple, inward-facing nosepiece mounted on ball bearings. Polarizing models are supplied with a removable analyzer.
OBJECTIVES — 45 MM PARFOCAL
- Semi-plan objectives are supplied in configurations that vary by model: 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, S40x/0.65, S60x/0.85 and S100x/1.25 oil immersion.
- The S40x, S60x and S100x objectives are retractable to help prevent damage to the specimen and objectives.
All optical components have anti-mould treatment and anti-reflection coatings to optimize light transmission.

FOCUS
- Coaxial coarse and fine focusing. Fine-focus precision: 2 μm per graduation, 200 graduations and 0.4 mm per fine-focus knob rotation.
- Total travel: 23 mm.
- Stage-height stop protects the specimen and objectives.
- Adjustable tension.
STAGE
- Mechanical stage, 130 × 130 mm, with 70 × 28 mm X–Y travel, except on models BB.4200 and BB.4205.
- Models BB.4200 and BB.4205 have a 120 × 120 mm stage with two specimen clips.
- Polarizing models have a 129 mm circular stage that rotates through 360° and includes two specimen clips.

CONDENSER
Height-adjustable Abbe condenser, N.A. 1.25, color-coded, with iris diaphragm and filter holder.
DUAL ILLUMINATION SYSTEM
- 1 W white (Neo)LED™, 6000–6500 K, for standard observations with crisp, cool illumination.
- 1 W colored halogen (Neo)LED™, 3000–3200 K, for enhanced contrast in specific applications such as transparent specimens.
Polarizing models also have dual LED illumination for accurate colour reproduction, similar to the halogen-light spectrum. EVO models are equipped with Köhler NeoLED™ illumination.
NeoLED™ ILLUMINATION
Binocular and trinocular models are supplied with an adjustable-intensity NeoLED™ illumination system.
REAR PANEL — EFFICIENT ORGANIZATION
The BioBlue has a practical rear storage panel with holders for five slides and two tools, integrated power-supply storage, immersion-oil storage, a dual-light switch, an integrated cable winder and a USB-C power input.
POLARIZING MODELS
- Analyzer mounted on a removable plate beneath the head.
- Graduated 360° rotating polarizer mounted on the lamp holder.
- Supplied with D-LED illumination for accurate colour reproduction, similar to the halogen-light spectrum, and an internal 100–240 V power supply.
- Polarization accessories for standard microscopes are available as an option.

ANTI-THEFT SLOT
A Kensington security slot on the rear of the microscope can be used to secure the instrument.
APL ANTIMICROBIAL PROTECTIVE COATING
Using technology also used in healthcare environments, APL helps prevent the growth of unwanted microbes that can cause degradation, discolouration, stains or odours on Euromex microscopes.

PACKAGING
- Supplied with a 100–240 V AC / 5 V DC multi-connector USB power adapter, three rechargeable AA batteries, dust cover, white filter, user manual and a 5 ml bottle of immersion oil for models with an S100x oil-immersion objective.
- All polarizing models are supplied with a crosshair reticle eyepiece.
- All models are supplied in a polystyrene case.
