bScope microscopes are designed for intensive use in research in high schools, universities, small laboratories and veterinary applications. In addition to an excellent ergonomic design, these robust and competitively priced microscopes are available in various configurations with HWF10x/20mm eyepieces and brightfield and phase contrast objectives.
An ergonomic and flexible design, with systems such as dual-height eyepieces, low-position focusing knobs and stage controls, and LED illumination system, helps minimize fatigue during long work sessions and thus provide greater comfort for microscopists. The compact size of the bScope and the power cord storage system allow for more work space, safer transportation, and easy storage.
EYEPIECES : HWF10/20 mm wide field flat eyepieces for Ø 23.2 mm eyepiece holders
HEAD : Equipped with a Siedentopf design head with 30º inclination of the eyepiece holders, a 360º rotating trinocular type and 360º rotation of the eyepiece holders that allow two observation heights . Diopter correction ± 5 on the left eyepiece holder. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 48 and 76 mm.
LENS REVOLVER: Quadruple inward-facing lens-holder revolver mounted on high-precision ball bearings
OBJECTIVES : State-of-the-art production techniques and multi-layer coatings used to manufacture bScope objectives allow the bScope to be used in small laboratories and higher education applications. Experience-based optical design offers high-quality spherical aberration correction and delivers sharp, true-color images at high resolution. The combination of the latest CNC and assembly techniques ensures perfect centering of the objectives. Equipped with E-plano PHASE 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, S40x/0.65 (retractable) and S100x/1.25 (oil immersion/retractable) brightfield objectives. All optical components feature anti-rust treatment.
FOCUS : Coaxial coarse and fine focusing, ergonomically positioned. Micrometer with 180 graduations, precision 1.1 µm per graduation, 200 µm per rotation, total travel approx. 19 mm. Supplied with stage height limiter to prevent damage to high magnification objectives or the specimen. Tension adjustment.
STAGE : The bScope Series is supplied with a heavy duty 152/197 x 131 mm rackless X-axis stage with XY travel of 75 x 36 mm. Vernier scale and specimen clamp. The rackless X-axis stage has no protruding parts, allows smoother movements and is safer in use. The low position of the XY control knobs prevents fatigue during long work sessions. The bScope can be supplied with a heated stage which can be adjusted to 50° Celsius by a PID temperature controller. Only available with new microscopes.
ZERNIKE CONDENSER FOR PHASE CONTRAST : For the phase contrast observation technique, the bScope Series is supplied with a Zernike AN 1.25 condenser with adjustable height by rack and pinion, with 5-position rotating turret (brightfield, phase 10x, phase 20x, phase 40x and phase 100x), with iris diaphragm and 32 mm filter holder ring. The bScope Series references for phase contrast include as standard a telescopic eyepiece for phase centering and a green filter to optimize the phase contrast image.
LIGHTING : bScope microscopes are equipped with a 3 W NeoLED adjustable intensity illumination system and can optionally be supplied with 3 rechargeable batteries for off-power operations.
KÖHLER ILLUMINATION: Köhler illumination is included in all models with infinity-corrected IOS objectives. This illumination provides high contrast and achieves the maximum resolving power of the optics by generating uniform illumination of the sample and eliminating all interferences from dust on the lenses and lateral glare from the light source.
CSS – CABLE STORAGE SYSTEM : bScope allows the user to store the power cable at the back of the microscope, thus preventing excessive cable length, saving work space and facilitating transport and storage of the equipment.
CARRYING HANDLE : The carrying handle ensures safe movement of the microscope
ANTI-THEFT SLOT: On the back of the microscope there is a Kensington security slot that can be used to secure the instrument from theft
PACKAGING : Polystyrene packaging with the equipment mould. Prevents environmental problems during transport and guarantees maximum safety so that it reaches the end user in perfect condition. The bScope Series is supplied with power cable, protective cover, special tools, spare fuse, white or green filter (depending on the model), 5 ml immersion oil bottle and instruction manual.
