HWF 10x/22 mm wide-field eyepieces with fixing system (eyepiece holder Ø 30 mm)
HEAD
- The bScope® is fitted with a Siedentopf type head and equipped with 30° inclined tubes Ø 30 mm and with a ± 5 diopter adjustment on the left eyepiece. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 48 and 76 mm.
- The trinocular head comes with a Ø 23.2 mm tube, ensuring maximum flexibility. The prisms inside the heads are designed to minimize light absorption and obtain perfect digital images. The trinocular head has a light path selector (100:0/0:100) and generates an erect image.

Quintuple rotating ball bearing objective nosepiece with inward facing position
GOALS
State-of-the-art production techniques and multi-layer coatings used for the manufacture of bScope® objectives allow the bScope® to be used for the most demanding applications. Perfect spherical aberration correction and modern CNC and assembly technology ensure perfect centering of the objectives.
- IOS plan PLi 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, 20x/0.40, S40x/0.65, S60x/0.85 and S100x/1.25 infinity corrected objectives (oil immersion) for applications where violet or ultraviolet excitation is not needed
- Select IOS Fluarex PLFi 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, 20x/0.40, S40x/0.65, and S100x/0.90 infinity-corrected objectives for applications where higher resolving power or violet or ultraviolet excitation is needed.
All S40x, S60x and S100x (oil immersion) lenses are retractable.
All optics are treated with anti-fungal and anti-reflective coating for maximum light output
APPROACH
Dual coaxial, low position coarse and fine focusing with 180 graduations. Accuracy 1.1 µm, 200 µm per rotation, total travel range is approximately 19 mm. Supplied with adjustable stage height stop to prevent damage to specimen and objectives. Coarse focusing is equipped with tension adjustment.
PLATEN
The bScope® is equipped with a scratch-resistant 152/197 x 131 mm stage with integrated 75 x 36 mm XY mechanical stage, Vernier scale, soft-closing removable sample holder. The rackless stage on the X-axis has no protruding parts, allows smoother movements and is safer to use. The low-position XY control knobs prevent fatigue during long work sessions.
BRIGHT FIELD CONDENSER
The height-adjustable Abbe-type NA 1.25 standard brightfield condenser comes with an iris diaphragm and a rotating filter holder.
ZERNIKE PHASE CONTRAST CONDENSER
The Zernike NA 1.25 turret type condenser comes with phase ring for 10/20/S40x and S100x phase contrast objectives, an iris diaphragm, a rotating filter holder and also a BF position for brightfield observation. The phase contrast objectives are available in EPL-PHi or PL-PHi versions. Supplied with phase centering telescopic eyepiece and green filter
CONDENSER FOR SINGLE PHASE CONTRAST
The simple phase contrast condenser NA 1.25 has a foil slot with phase rings for phase lenses 10/S40x, or slide with phase rings for 20/S100x phase contrast objectives. The condenser has an iris diaphragm and a filter ring. Phase contrast objectives are available in EPL-PHi or PL-PHi versions. Supplied with a phase-centering telescopic eyepiece and green filter.
POLARIZATION
The bScope® has an integrated slot on the nosepiece for an optional polarizing filter.
FLUORESCENCE ACCESSORY
- Epi-illumination with four 5 W LEDs for fluorescence excitation at 450 to 470 nm (blue), 515 to 535 nm (green), 390 to 400 (violet) and 360 to 370 nm (ultraviolet). External power supply 100-240 V
- Epi-illumination with 100 W HBO Mercury vapor lamp. External power supply 110 or 230 V

NEOLED™ TRANSMITTED LIGHTING
The dimmable 3 W Köhler NeoLED™ transmitted illumination is powered by an internal 100-240 V power supply making it suitable for worldwide use. The innovative NeoLED™ design offers larger apertures, allowing the bScope® microscope optical system to produce images at higher resolutions, very close to the theoretical diffraction limit of optics. Other benefits of NeoLED™ include low power consumption, low heat build-up and a long lifespan.
KÖHLER LIGHTING
A Köhler illumination guarantees the highest possible contrast and highest achievable resolving power for all infinity-corrected IOS models. It generates uniform illumination of the sample and eliminates all interference from lens dust and side glare from the light source.
WIRELESS USE
Optional rechargeable batteries turn the bScope® into a wireless system for transmitted illumination
CSS - CABLE STORAGE SYSTEM
Allows users to easily store excess cable length in the back of the instrument during operation and coil the power cord for easy storage
CARRYING HANDLE
The integrated carrying handle on the back of the microscope ensures safe transport of the microscope.
ANTI-THEFT SLOT
On the back of the microscope there is a Kensington security slot, which can be used to protect the instrument from theft.
