MOTORIZED REVOLVER
The Delphi-X Observer™ can be supplied with a motorized, reverse-positioned sextuple nosepiece. A precise stepper motor allows the user to change targets at the touch of a button. Another button allows quick switching between two previously selected targets. Supplied as standard with the motorized nosepiece
ENHANCED INFINITY CORRECTION SYSTEM (EIS)
The Delphi-X Observer™ Enhanced Infinity System (EIS) consists of super widefield SFW10x25mm SFWF eyepieces, high numerical aperture 60mm parfocal objectives, and a 200mm focal length tube lens. The 200mm focal length tube lens reduces the angle of light rays passing through the optics and as a direct result significantly improves chromatic aberration corrections and contrast. The larger diameter objectives allow for much higher numerical apertures which improve the overall resolving capability of the optical system.
For all these reasons, Delphi-X Obsever™ offers superior optical performance for the most demanding applications.
PLANO ACHROMATIC OBJECTIVES (clinical routine laboratories)
The Delphi-X Observer™ comes standard with the EIS Plan Achromat 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, 20x/0.40, S40x/0.65, and S100x/1.25 oil immersion infinity-corrected objectives
Optional objectives: Plan Achromat 2x/0.06 (working distance 7.5 mm), Plan Achromat S50x/0.95 (working distance 0.19 mm), Plan Achromat S60x/0.80 (working distance 0.30 mm)
SEMI-APOCROMATIC PLANE OBJECTIVES (anatomy and histopathology laboratories)
The Delphi-X Observer™ can also be supplied with infinity corrected EIS objectives Plan Semi-Apochromat Fluarex 4x/0.13, 10x/0.30, 20x/0.50, S40x/0.75 and S100x/1.30 (oil immersion)

DIASCOPIC ILLUMINATIONS
Two Köhler illuminations are available for the Delphi-X Observer microscope:
- Dimmable Köhler type using NeoLED™ 3W with internal 100-240V power supply
- Köhler type with adjustable intensity using a 100W halogen lamp with an internal 100-240 V power supply
The halogen diascopic illumination comes with two push-in/push-out neutral density filters for light intensity attenuation for all types of samples. The NeoLED™ diascopic illumination comes with a diffuse filter
NeoLED™
The innovative NeoLED™ design is a combination of a custom LED and a specially designed thin lens with a short focal length to achieve three main benefits:
- More oblique light can be captured from the LED light source, which significantly increases the light output
- Less energy is required to achieve this level of light intensity
- The larger aperture of NeoLED™ enables microscope optical systems to produce images at higher resolutions, very close to the theoretical diffraction limit of optics.
ICARE SENSOR
This sensor helps prevent unnecessary energy loss. The microscope illumination switches off automatically shortly after the user leaves the microscope.
CARRYING HANDLE
The carrying handle on the back of the microscope ensures safe transport of the microscope and the integrated tool and tool holder ensure that the right tool is always available.
