The ergonomic, state-of-the-art design combined with exceptional objectives make the Delphi-X Observer the ideal microscope for advanced observation of materials. The 25 mm field of view of the eyepieces and the Plan Apochromatic objectives allow observing with perfect color quality with high resolving power.

Three types of eyepieces for transmitted illumination:

HEAD
Siedentopf type trinocular head, tubes inclined at 30º, adjustable interpupillary distance between 47 and 78mm as well as diopter adjustment on both eyepiece tubes. The trinocular tube has an image selector (100:0 / 80:20 / 0:100)
ERGONOMIC TILTING HEAD
Optional: Ergonomic tilting head between 0º and 35º trinocular with super widefield SWF10x/25mm eyepieces, interpupillary distance between 47-78mm and diopter adjustment on both eyepiece tubes of ± 5. The trinocular tube is Ø 23.2 mm and image selector (100:0 / 80:20 / 0:100)
REVOLVER
Inward-tilted quintuple revolver mounted on spheres and screws for adjustment and centering of each objective

IMPROVED INFINITY OPTICAL SYSTEM
(eis= Enhanced Infinity System)
The enhanced optical system in the Delphi-X Observer™ series consists of SWF10x/25mm Super Wide Field eyepieces with 10x/25mm objectives. 45mm parfocal AN. This lens reduces the angle of the light beam passing through the optics which results in significantly decreased chromatic aberration and improved contrast. Larger diameter lenses allow for much higher numerical apertures improving the overall resolving power of the optical system.
For all these reasons, Delphi-X Observer™ offers superior optical performance for demanding applications.
PLATEN
190mm circular stage, 360º rotatable with Vernier scale and a pair of clamps to hold the samples. As an option, it is possible to adapt a 30 x 30mm XY translation stage.
CONDENSER
ABBE condenser of 1.25 AN and height adjustment. Includes iris diaphragm and 360º rotating polarizer
APPROACH
Coaxial coarse (macro) and fine (micro) focusing knobs, 100 graduations, 1 µm accuracy, 100 µm per rotation, total travel range is approximately 35 mm. Supplied with adjustable stop system to prevent damage to specimen and objectives. Coarse (macro) focusing knob is equipped with friction control. Focusing knobs can be changed from left to right according to user preference.
LIGHTNING
The Delphi-X Observer™ polarizing illumination is equipped with reflected light and transmitted light with a 100W halogen bulb, Intensity adjustment and internal power supply of 100-240 Vac. The transmitted halogen illumination is equipped with two neutral density filters for smooth attenuation of light intensity for all types of samples.
POLARIZATION
Supplied with 360º rotating polarization filter, analyzer filter, Bertrand lens, “first order red” lambda λ plate, ¼ Lambda λ plate and quartz wedge
REFLECTED LIGHTING MODULE
Up to six observation modules can be placed on the rotating part of the reflected illumination. It comes with brightfield and brightfield with ND filter positions.
“ICARE” SENSOR
The unique iCare sensor is developed to prevent unnecessary energy loss. The microscope illumination is automatically switched off shortly after the user has finished working with the equipment.
CARRYING HANDLE
The carrying handle on the back of the microscope ensures safe transportation of the equipment. A mounting tool for the stand is included.
