About the Entellan solution

Entellan is a new composite solution based on xylene polymers.

The combination of multiple resins makes Entellan a particularly fast bonding agent . It can be used on any dehydrated microscopic preparation.

Prepared samples can be stored for years without any colour changes . Entellan's constant properties will ensure excellent quality of the preparations.

Produces clear samples, free of air bubbles and with great dye stability

Using Entellan Solution

Cover the object with drops of Entellan so that the space between the cover glass and the specimen is completely filled. The cover glass should be sealed up to the edges. The excess sealing agent can be removed with a cloth moistened with xylene. In the case of histological or cytological preparations it is advisable to use xylene in the final phase before sealing, so that the turbidities created by the action of the alcohol will be avoided. As a precautionary measure we recommend that, as with other sealing agents, all work requiring the use of Entellan be used under a fume hood and in well-ventilated rooms. Replace the bottle cap immediately after use. Entellan may become viscous, in this case Entellan can be brought to the desired liquid state by using xylene. Make sure to store it at room temperature.
