EYE CLOSURES
iScope metallographic models are supplied with a pair of EWF10x/20 mm eyepieces (for Ø 23.2 mm eyepiece holders).
HEAD
Siedentopf design binocular and trinocular head with 30° inclined eyepiece tubes. Adjustable interpupillary distance between 48 and 76 mm. +5 diopter correction on both eyepiece tubes. Ergonomic butterfly-type head rotation system allows two observation positions: high (431 mm) and low (397 mm). The trinocular head has a Ø 23.2 mm documentation port.
REVOLVER LENS HOLDER
Quintuple objective-holder revolver in reverse position and mounted on high-precision ball bearings.
GOALS
Infinity-corrected PLMi plano-achromatic (IOS) objectives specially designed for materials observation. All optical components have anti-rust treatment and anti-reflection coating treatment for maximum light transmission.
PLATEN
216 x 150 mm mechanical stage, without rack on the X axis and with X/Y travel of 79 x 52 mm.
CONDENSER
Standard Abbe type condenser AN 1.25 adjustable in height and with iris diaphragm. Allows the placement of a slide for dark field technique up to a maximum of 400x.
Optional Abbe type condenser with height-adjustable AN 0.90/1.25 folding lens and iris diaphragm.
APPROACH
Macro and micrometric focusing with precision of 1 μm, 200 graduations per micrometer turn (0.2 mm). Total travel of approximately 24 mm. With safety system to limit the stage height and protect the sample and high magnification objectives. With focus tension adjustment.
TRANSMITTED LIGHTING
Köhler design using 3 W NeoLED with adjustable intensity and internal 100-240 Vac power supply.
INCIDENT LIGHTING
Using NeoLED with external power supply 100-240 Vac. Supplied with 0-90° polarizing filter mounted on sliding sheet, simple dark field device, white, green, blue and yellow filter.
ICARE SENSOR
This sensor helps prevent unnecessary energy loss. The microscope illumination switches off automatically shortly after the user leaves the microscope.
CABLE STORAGE SYSTEM - CSS
iScope microscopes allow the user to store the power cord on the back of the stand. A handle is also located on the back of the stand for convenient transport of the microscope.
