Description

This metallography kit combines the Euromex iScope IS.1053-PLMi microscope, a CMEX PRO 5 digital camera and ImageFocusLabs cast-iron analysis software.

The software analyses nodular graphite according to ASTM A247. It automatically calculates graphite area and percentage, nodularity and nodule count per square millimetre, and classifies nodules into categories 1–8. Measurements can be made across multiple images and transferred to a report or saved to Excel. The software also supports phase analysis, including ferrite, pearlite and graphite percentages, and calculation of spheroidization according to ASTM A247.
