5 MP high-speed USB 2.0 colour CMOS microscope camera with C-mount, reducing lens and calibration slide
Code: MU500-HS
Key features
- 5 MP USB digital camera for still-image capture and live video streaming to a computer
- Calibration slide included for setting measurement references
- Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 software with image editing, processing, stitching, extended depth of focus (EDF) and measurement tools
- Mac and Linux software for video and still capture, with exposure and colour controls
- Fits 23 mm, 30 mm, 30.5 mm and C-mount ports; two mounting adapters included
The MU500-HS is a higher-speed version of the 5 MP digital camera. Its larger buffer enables higher frame rates. This C-mount microscope camera captures still images and streams or records live video on Windows, Mac and Linux computers. The standalone Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 software includes stitching, EDF, video recording and measurement, as well as annotation, shape and watermark tools. Preview and capture resolutions can be set independently, allowing high-speed, lower-resolution live preview while capturing higher-resolution images or video. Mac and Linux software supports still and video capture and colour and exposure controls.
The included reducing lens and two adapters allow the camera to fit 23 mm, 30 mm and 30.5 mm eyepiece tubes or photo ports. The reducer widens the field of view to better match the view through the eyepieces. The camera connects and receives power through a standard USB 2.0 connection, so no separate power connection is needed. The calibration slide supports accurate software measurements by establishing references at different magnifications.
